I’ve had the full on hiccups FOUR FUCKING TIMES today. I feel like a child.
So I was able to diagnose the failed control board in my refrigerator and order a replacement, and swap it out. $330, but good as new!
Upon further inspection of the dishwasher, escalation engineer was able to determine initial analysis was incomplete, and only minor updates to infrastructure were required.
Dishwasher now performing as expected.
DNS still sucks.
Home refrigerator crashed today, the electronics are toast. Last time this happened a reboot solved it, but not this time.
DR plan has redundant cooling options in the garage but some food loss expected.
What was unexpected is our dishwasher also failed today.
I blame DNS.

Apparently I had to add a payment method, before I could update my address and add my tax ID (SSN) … so more info, to close it. Now in 2-3 weeks a PIN will arrive in the mail, which I will verify.

I updated around 5 hours ago and it’s only down 10% - on watchOS 6.0 it’d probably drop 30% in that time.
It’s too early to say for sure, but it’s a positive development.

I’ve had the Apple Watch Series 5 just over a week. It’s essentially the Series 4, but the always on display is so worth it. (I also went to stainless from aluminum. Love it.)
But, battery life has been unimpressive, so I decided to run the watchOS 6.1 beta on it tonight.

One of my home devices reached its effective end of support yesterday with the release of iOS 13.1. It was the original iPad Air that my oldest users.
Today he was very unhappy to find out Apple Arcade isn’t available to him.

I turned off 3D Touch on my XS Max to see what the fuss was about losing it on the 11. The only place I notice the different between it and Haptic Touch is text selection shortcuts, otherwise, meh.
