Note to self, in order to keep Twitter mentions sane, never mention sandwich condiments again.

Amazon buys Whole Foods, because sure, why not.
Corporate laptop is pretty nice hardware, for a PC. Touchpad sucks, and Windows 7 w/o local admin makes me want to cry. Otherwise, nice.
Life in Big Corporate: I don’t have a laptop yet. #NoEmailNoResponsibilities
First Sunday evening in almost six years that I don’t have a time sheet for billing due.

The process of looking for a new job is stressful. If you already have one, you’re a bit like a secret agent, sneaking around town trying to complete the mission of getting someone new to agree to sign your paychecks, without the old boss finding out. If you don’t have a job, it’s even more stressful, as you wait around and watch your bank accounts dwindle, with nothing to replenish it.
Upcoming blog entry is one of my longer ones in recent history, and one of my most heavily rewritten/edited. Just a “7 min read” still.
Does your Costco have a car wash?
Great to get follow up emails from vendors for conferences I didn’t even attend.
Taking both kids to the mall by myself to try and buy a belt was not the brightest idea I’ve had this week.
Hey good news, I have a sinus infection.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…
I was finally able to watch the #WWDC17 keynote. So much awesomesauce.
Today’s #wwdc keynote is the first one for a long as I remember that I won’t be able to watch live.
My 2yo, wearing American flag pants and no shirt, shoves an entire piece of bacon in his mouth and starts running around the house. #dadlife
I haven’t had any coffee since April 15.
Doing sit-ups in my bedroom at 11pm for 3 minutes to get that damn green ring.
Crisis averted, an SMC reset appears to have been successful at fixing my MBP issues for now.
My extended AppleCare warranty just expired a month or so ago.
Mac has been acting odd the last couple days, wireless issues, not unlocking from Watch. Then just sitting here the fans kicked up to full.
Something about having a turbocharged car turns me into a nut. Up late last night researching fuel octane, detergents and synthetic oils.
Buying a car really is a extremely dumb experience. So many games.
But nowhere near as bad as a house.

TIL, macOS Preview can open .pptx files.
I heard a rumor that VMware was giving away some nice socks at #CitrixSynegy, which makes me sad, because I don’t have any of my own…
How is it that I went from never hearing of these fidget spinner things last week to nothing but them today?

This morning I gave two weeks notice to my current employer, a Kansas City based VAR, where I have been a senior data center engineer for the last six years. I’ve enjoyed many aspects of my current role; becoming certified in new technologies, learning new skills, and solving problems for customers. I’ve had the pleasure to work with a lot of talented people within the organization and within our partners… and of course, with our customers.
When I got a push notification that Cloud Computing had won the Preakness I was pretty sure I’d recently had a stroke.
ABC cancelled #lastmanstanding!?
